Citrus Fruit Grading and Shipping/

Safe, secure, and delicious citrus from Ehime to the world ⛵🍊

This shows the sorting and shipping process at Uwajima Ueda Farm in Ehime Prefecture's Nanyo region. Handling container transport carts, we load the freshly harvested 🍊 oranges into the hopper 🍊. Each 🍊 is carefully sorted by hand into Grade A and Grade B (oversized, citrus canker, damaged, etc.), passing through drum holes and receiving final approval ✅. We then grade and pack them according to orders.

Recently, it seems not only direct sales outlets but also more packing houses handling organic citrus are emerging, which should be a tailwind for our council team.

To refine our safe, delicious, and reliable products, we need field trials using various materials to improve quality and establish standards. To secure yields, we also need organizational theory to maintain and expand our position as an exporting region🚢.

Harvesting of late-season citrus (like Amahira and Ponkan🍋) will continue through January and beyond! Everyone, please look forward to our upcoming harvest of organic citrus🍊!
