Preparations for replanting and new planting have begun.～
Here is a report on the recent activities of 🍊Okubo Mikan Farm in Uwajima City, which is engaged in pesticide-free, organic citrus cultivation under the motto, "Taste before appearance, improvement every day. They are cutting down trees✂ and burning them in the field🔥 in preparation for replanting this spring.
According to Mr. Okubo, he has leased an unattended garden adjacent to his property.
見掛けよりも食味優先、毎日が改善」をモットーにかんきつの無農薬、有機栽培に取り組まれている宇和島市の大久保みかん🍊農園さんの最近の様子をお伝えします。今春の改植向け伐採✂、野焼き🔥をされています。
大久保さんによると、園地に隣接する放任園を借受けされたとのこと。
「以前は早生うんしゅうの温室栽培をしていましたが、栽培を止めてからは施設は撤去して自家用に収穫だけしていました。4,5年前からは収穫もせず、園地にも来る事もなくなっていました。」、そうです。
耕作放棄地、荒廃地対策も徐々に進んできている様です👍、協議会活動としてしっかり仕組みを作っていきます！。
因みに、改植は南柑20号予定です！
